The Institute for Leaders in
State Title V CSHCN Programs has held an annual training workshop for
the past four years
(convened by the Institute for Child Health Policy, an Institute of the
State University System at the University of Florida), to which ten to
fifteen state programs were invited to attend annually, so that,
over the course of the four-year project, all Title V CSHCN Programs will have had
an opportunity to participate.
Each
state attending brings a team of four participants, which
include the CSHCN Director (or designee), a CSHCN family member and two other individuals
(CSHCN staff) who have a
significant role in interpreting and implementing Title V statutory
requirements, addressing the CSHCN-related Block Grant requirements, or
reporting on the CSHCN-related Block Grant Performance Measures.
